1 cup flour
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
1 ½ cups rolled oats
½ cup butter, softened
½ cup white sugar
½ cup light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup chopped pecans
Using a food processor or blender, ground 1 cup of the rolled oats to a powder-like consistency. Pour into a bowl and add remaining oatmeal and first 4 ingredients. Mix and set aside.
In separate bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add egg and mix well. Mix in dry ingredients. Mix in chopped pecans. Stir in fresh blueberries by hand.
Drop by rounded teaspoons on parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake at 350º for about 8-10 minutes, until golden on the edges and just set.
Cool on racks and store in airtight container. Makes 2 dozen.
